As I’ve mentioned to you in the past, I completed a two-year program with one of the other big-name automotive management gurus at an overall cost of about $50,000. While they did help me in the short run, I believe the business model they taught at that time is a recipe for failure, especially since they lacked a strong marketing program.
On the other hand, your approach to business [at Turnaround Tour], with its concentration on budgeting, financial analysis and systems, is a great foundation for a lasting business. Your affiliation with Mudlick Mail and Greg Sands completes the picture with the best marketing and auto repair systems approach available. I gained far more from you in the first six months than I did the entire two years with the other guys, but what I have learned since that initial six month period is far greater than I thought possible. I can’t imagine not being part of your group, and would heartily recommend it to anyone – except, of course, my competitors.
